Bill Abell

William K. (“Bill”) Abell is managing partner of Abell & Associates, LLC and is Of Counsel to Hawthorne, Atchison and Riddle. He is licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts of Alabama, focusing primarily on workers’ compensation, catastrophic injury claims, social security, and personal injury. He has recovered many substantial verdicts on behalf of his clients and has even served as a featured speaker at seminars throughout the state. He has also co-authored The Trial Handbook for Alabama Lawyers, 2^nd Edition. Bill is a member of the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, the Executive Committee & Board of Governors, the Alabama State Bar, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Montgomery County Bar Association, and the Montgomery County Trial Lawyers.

Before earning his Juris Doctor from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 1979, Bill graduated cum laude from Troy State University with his Bachelor’s degree. While in law school, he served as the Vice President of Sigma Delta Kappa legal fraternity. Upon graduation, he went on to practice in the areas of criminal, civil and domestic litigation.
