Carshala Youse

Attorney

Carshala Youse is a native of Memphis, Tennessee. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, coupled with a minor in Legal Studies, from Milligan University in Johnson City, Tennessee. In 2013, Carshala moved to Montgomery, Alabama to attend Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. There, she was an active member of the Black Law Students Association, Ernestine S. Sapp Chapter, Phi Alpha Delta, Albert Patterson Chapter, and the Women’s Legal Society. Carshala competed in several competitions, namely the Closing Argument Competition, where she received runner-up, and also in the Oral Argument Competition. Carshala participated in the Mediation Clinic at Thomas Goode Jones School of Law and assisted many individuals through the Family Violence Clinic. She received her Juris Doctorate in 2016 and became a practicing attorney in September 2016.

 

Carshala’s current areas of practice include Personal Injury, Products Liability, Family Law, and Contracts. She is an active member of Leadership Montgomery, Torchbearers Class XIII, where it has been her pleasure to learn more about the City of Montgomery and better serve her community. Carshala is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association and the Autauga County Bar Association. Carshala is married to Samuel Youse and has three beautiful daughters - Sonia, Skyla & Saige. Carshala’s goal is to serve her community through authentic advocacy.
